But when we tried to bring that magic to desktop setups with Apple’s Magic Trackpad, it just wasn’t the same. Placing the Magic Trackpad and keyboard side by side didn’t feel as intuitive or natural.

So, we set out to bring the “magic” of the MacBook layout to any setup, whether you’re using an iMac, a MacBook on a stand, or any other configuration. That’s how Harmony Tray was born: to make your workspace feel as effortless as a MacBook, no matter where you work.

In 2023, we proudly introduced the first Harmony Tray, creating a brand new category in workspace accessories. It was a bold start, and while some loved it, we knew it was only a partial success—far from the standard we wanted. We listened closely to the feedback, especially the criticism, and took it to heart. Instead of pushing forward, we chose to pause, take a step back, and even stop selling the original Harmony Tray, putting our initial investment aside.

Our goal has always been to make our customers truly happy, so we decided to go back to the drawing board and get it right. And from that dedication, Harmony Tray Pro was born.

The recessed trackpad placement minimizes unintentional touches, but for professional or intensive work, we still recommend turning off “Tap to Click” for even greater control.
